Dear geneticists,
I am pleased to invite you to the Annual Conference of the German Genetics Society, which will be held in Cologne this year. Unlike previous conferences, which focused on specific subjects, the conference will from now on cover a broad range of topics relevant for genetics. We therefore ask you to submit your abstracts for one of the indicated topics. Two submissions from each area will be selected for oral presentations.
In addition to the conference, there are many other reasons for visiting Cologne. Not only the famous ‘Dom’, Germany’s largest cathedral, but also a variety of museums, as well as concerts, a vibrant night life and a large number of breweries make this exciting city on the Rhine a worthwhile place for an extended visit.
I look forward to welcoming you here on behalf of the Genetics Society in September.
