Annual Conference of the German Genetics Society (GfG)

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the board of the German Genetics Society it was our pleasure to welcome you to our Annual Conference to Jena, 16–18 September 2010.

Based on the various responses we have received it seems that the topics covering many aspects of “Evolution of Primates” was well appreciated. We are very grateful for the positive feedbacks.

This topic fitted perfectly in the frame of cultural Jena, home of Ernst Haeckel and its well-known Phyletisches Museum dedicated to illustrating the development of life.

We are thankful for the participation as well as the fruitful discussions by many distinguished keynote speakers and scientists from Germany and abroad.

We are looking forward to seeing you on our next Annual Conference in Würzburg 2011.
